In this work, the reaction of higher organisms to UV-rays on a molecular level was investigated. For this reason, the existence of a unique protein that could be the end result of this reaction was aimed to be found in mouse serum. The techniques (PAGE, SDS-PAGE, PAGE-2D, PAGIF) used in the experiments are thought to be exteremely useful in such investigations as reactions of organisms to physical environmental effects.
