DOI : 10.29228/jrp.882 This study examines the impact of financial well-being on happiness levels at work among academics in the Faculty of Pharmacy. The research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing an online survey to collect data from 209 participants working at foundation and public universities in Istanbul. The survey, based on a 5-point Likert scale, measures financial well-being and happiness levels at work. The significance of this research lies in its contribution to understanding the dynamics between financial well-being and workplace happiness, an area underexplored in the literature. Regression analysis reveals a significant and negative relationship between financial well-being and happiness at work. The R-square value (14.6%) indicates that financial well-being explains a limited portion of the variance in happiness levels, suggesting the presence of other influential factors. These findings underscore the importance of financial well-being in enhancing overall workplace happiness. Organizations are encouraged to develop strategies that address employees' financial concerns, thereby fostering a more productive and satisfied workforce. This study contributes to the broader discourse on work psychology by highlighting the critical role of financial stability in achieving workplace happiness.
