In this study, the extend of lead exposure between the storage battery industry workers in different factories and in the different sections of these factories was investigated by means of blood lead level determinations. At the same time, the blood lead levels of our population were investigated in order to get the normal blood lead level values. The normal blood lead levels were found to be in the range accepted normal with respect to exposure to lead and in accordance with the international normal values. Significant increase was seen in the blood lead levels of the workers in small factories compared to large factories where the samplings were done in the same sections of different factories.
