Studies on nasal absorption of drugs have shown that this route is a promising way for the materials having poor bioavailability. In order to make that the last decision on clinical and commercial usage of nasal delivery, however, more detailed investigations are necessary about nasal cavity, interaction with mucus, effects of disease on mucosal absorption.
